Roller Blinds Melbourne
Window roller blinds are both functional and attractive, making them a top choice for many Melbourne homeowners. Also known as Holland blinds, these roller blinds consist of fabric that rolls up and down a window using a chain. By gently pulling the chain, you can easily move the fabric up or down to adjust the amount of light entering the room. For ultimate convenience, motorised blinds are also available.
Roller blinds are available in a variety of fabrics, colours, and styles. You can choose from blockout blinds, light filtering blinds, and sunscreen blinds that effectively block harmful UV rays. If you desire low-maintenance, complete privacy, light control, and child-safe options for your new window treatments, then quality roller blinds are an excellent choice.
These roller blinds offer a sleek, modern look that fits any style, situation, and budget. Practical and affordable, you can select translucent blinds, dual roller blinds, or blackout blinds for maximum privacy and convenience in any room. Roller blinds in Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula are especially beneficial, given the region’s unpredictable weather and cool winters. They provide greater control over your family’s comfort and energy efficiency.
For an elegant touch that complements your interior design, consider roller blinds in different finishes. Options like aluminium base rails, traditional plain finishes, or distinctive features like a wave scallop edge can enhance your home’s aesthetic.

What To Consider
Choosing the right types of blinds is dependent on your wants and needs. We want to make sure you make the right decision that will work best for your situation. There are some challenges to consider if you are thinking about cellular blinds in your home or office.
Here are a few things to think about:
Style
While these are a convenient choice, they may not work with your design aesthetic depending on what you are looking for. One of the advantages of this style is its ability to pair with other window treatments to create the aesthetic you want.
Light
Cellular shades do not allow the control of light if the shade is entirely down. While some blinds allow light to be filtered in, and other blinds have a translucent appearance. Honeycomb blinds are very effective in keeping the light out.
Maintenance
Pleated shades are known to get dirty over a certain period and can look dingy if not properly cleaned. There is a special technique needed to clean these blinds and maintain their appearance over time. We provide information on how to keep these shades clean and pristine.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common Questions About Roller Blinds
This is an extremely important question that is often overlooked. At Complete Blinds, we manufacture our roller blinds using the Rollease Acmeda RB09 System. This is a premium brand within the industry and Rollease Acmeda’s premium option guarantees the best quality.
Our customers can choose blockout, light filtering, and sunscreen fabrics. We have partnered with high-quality brands including Shaw of Australia, Uni-Line, Hunter Douglas, and Wilsons to give our customers a wide selection.
Our roller blinds are manufactured using our standard heavy duty 45mm tube (Most other roller blinds on the market use an inferior 38mm tube). This aluminum tube is generally used for blinds up to 2600mm wide. We then use the “ultra” heavy-duty tube for any larger blinds. The ultra-heavy duty aluminum tube has a diameter of 48mm wide and thicker aluminum to prevent bowing. Our widest blinds are then restricted by the widths of fabric availability. Most fabrics do not span wider than 3000mm.
Yes! Motorisation is now a large part of our Complete Blinds. Our customers can choose from battery or hard-wired motors. At Complete Blinds, we use the sophisticated Automate™ brand, which has a reputation for delivering high quality and value for the money. Please check out our motorisation page for more information.
This depends on the size of the job and the requirements needed to complete the manufacturing and installation process. We normally deliver and install approximately 4 weeks after the deposit is paid.
Yes. If a 100% blockout fabric is chosen, the fabric itself is 100% blockout. The way they are installed also plays a part in the blockout level of the entire blind. For example, if the roller blind is installed in the recess of a window, there will be a 17mm light gap down each side of the blind. If installed on the outside of the architrave, this provides a superior blockout.
